The Birth of a Belief: The Trademark Journey of WONDERSTAR
In June 2021, shortly after WONDERSTAR was founded, we filed an application with the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) to register our trademark.
It wasn’t just about securing a name — it was about protecting what that name stands for: creativity, integrity, and the light that inspires us.
Typically, a trademark approval takes about six to eight months.
However, in October 2021, we were informed that our application would be suspended due to a third-party lawsuit.
The process came to a halt — and so began a long period of uncertainty.
But we didn’t give up.
Because for us, WONDERSTAR represents more than words — it represents our belief, our purpose, and the way we illuminate every project we take on.
In July 2022, the case was finally resolved.
TIPO revoked the opposing trademark and approved our registration.
After more than a year of waiting, we could finally call ourselves WONDERSTAR — officially and rightfully.
Persistence doesn’t always guarantee success, but it always makes you stronger.
